Pacific Life PDX Indexed Universal Life Policy (IUL) Class Action

February 2, 2021
Ingrid Evans

A class action lawsuit is pending in California state court against Pacific Life Insurance Company (“PacLife”) alleging claims on behalf of California purchasers of Pacific Discovery Xelerator IUL indexed universal life insurance policies (“PDX Policies”).  These PDX Policies were issued by PacLife, nationwide, from February 2017 until 2019. Evans Law Firm, Inc., along with other counsel, represents plaintiffs in the lawsuit.

The class action alleges, among other things, that PacLife used misleading marketing materials and sales illustrations. The case also alleges that the PDX Policies include excessive policy charges, do not perform well, and that policies may lapse unless additional premiums are paid in certain circumstances.

We would like to hear from PDX policyholders from California, Florida, Minnesota, Illinois, New Jersey, Michigan and Arizona.
