J.P. Morgan MOZAIC I and MOZAIC II Investment Strategies
Nationwide Life and Annuity Insurance Company, part of the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Group, issues various types of deferred annuities throughout the State of California. Nationwide’s deferred annuity products include fixed indexed annuities issued under the trade names Nationwide New Heights©, Nationwide High Point 365©, and Nationwide High Point©. These Nationwide fixed indexed annuities, like deferred annuities generally, include complex rules regarding returns and investment strategies, fees and costs, and penalties for early withdrawals, known as surrenders.
The Nationwide New Heights©, Nationwide High Point 365©, and Nationwide High Point© contracts have surrender periods of various lengths, up to ten years or more. Two of the investment strategies offered under Nationwide’s New Heights contracts are Nationwide’s proprietary indices J.P. Morgan MOZAIC I Index and the J.P. Morgan MOZAIC II Index.
