Millbrae Caregiver Accused of Physical Elder Abuse

Physical elder abuse – A Millbrae caregiver will stand trial on assault and physical elder abuse charges.  The caregiver has been accused of beating an elderly Millbrae man on the head and causing serious injuries.  It is alleged that the caregiver hit the elderly man on the head with his own walker.  Millbrae elder abuse attorneys warn the public that elder abuse is on the rise nationwide.

The defendant in this case is a 50 year old man who was supposed to be the caretaker for the elderly victim.  The defendant was arrested when the 88-year old senior that he was supposed to be taking care of was found bleeding from a head wound while the defendant slept in the next room.  Millbrae elder abuse attorneys say that if the allegations are true, this is a clear cut case of physical elder abuse perpetrated by the caregiver.
